The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions is committed to promoting biodiversity and conservation to enrich people’s lives, through sustainable management of Western Australia’s species, ecosystems, lands and the attractions in the department’s care.

  • This position assists staff scientists to undertake research projects within North West Shelf Flatback Turtle Conservation Program (NWSFTCP).
  • The role involves planning and carrying out field work, use and maintenance of a wide variety of research equipment, general laboratory maintenance and purchasing of supplies, assistance with collation and management of complex datasets, assisting with analysis of data and preparation of publication, training and coordination of volunteers.
