Desert Knowledge Australia (DKA) is looking for an experienced Communications Officer, who can effectively inform and promote our organisation, its projects, its people, its mission, and its activities. The role ensures public messaging and external communications activities support visibility and recognition of DKA’s strategic focus areas. The role is also responsible for nurturing relationships with the Alice Springs community and relevant organisations.

This is a full-time position based in Alice Springs, Northern Territory at the Desert Knowledge Precinct. You’ll be working with a diverse group of people and projects within DKA and across the networks of the desert and remote Australia.

The salary will be commensurate with experience, in the range of $90,000 - $96 000 - General NTPS - Administrative stream AO6
