Teacher - Non-emergency Patient Transport - Gippsland

Our client is seeking an additional teacher to their health services teaching team. This position is 0.8FTE located in Gippsland.

  • Have you been a Patient Transport Officer or Paramedic for several years?
  • Have you mentored or trained other staff?
  • Do you wish to pass on your skills and knowledge to others for this rewarding career?
  • Do you have a Certificate IV Training and Assessment or willing to complete one?
  • Do you have good computer skills?

If you have answered yes to the above questions and are seeking a new direction in your paramedic or patient transport career this may be the position for you. Perhaps you are tired of shift work or just want to pass on your years of experience to those starting their career.

As a minimum you will hold a Diploma level qualification or higher in paramedic services to teach Certificate III Non-emergency Patient Transport. In this role you will be engaging and assisting students to progress through their studies and gain competency in their certificate, both in theory and hands on components.

This position is 4 days a week and located in Gippsland. Salary range will be in line with qualifications and experience.
