Make the move to Byron Bay
Dilectio is a disruptive plant-based cheese company based in Byron Bay that is set on defining a new quality standard for the segment. We break boundaries of what was thought to be impossible by bringing the best cheese flavours from the world to the Australian plant-based cheese market.
We are looking for a passionate food technologist to create something amazing. We intend to be selling into the major supermarkets within the next 12-18 months, becoming a dominant brand in plant-based cheese. Dilectio is synonymous with quality, taste and innovation.
Established in 2018 by founders Mark and Marie, you will work closely with them on product development in a small team in Byron Bay.
You have a background in new product development and solid experience in food product design, including texture, flavour and sensory testing. Cheese making, fermentation, and affinage experience is highly desirable.
You may have tertiary qualifications in Food Science and Technology or your experience in plant-based food development is so significant that it would outweigh a formal qualification.
You have strong project management skills and hold yourself accountable for quality results. This is a role that will suit you if you are driven and resourceful and can think outside the box.
