Founded in 2016, Disaster Relief Australia is a veteran led non-profit organisation that unites the skills and experience of military veterans with emergency services specialists to rapidly deploy disaster relief teams around Australia and the world in the wake of natural disasters.
When disaster strikes, we work hard to help the most vulnerable in need. By working with or alongside local agencies and governments, Disaster Relief Australia quickly responds to large-scale natural disasters to provide relief to communities in need. In short, we help people on their worst days.
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer and based in Northern NSW the Relationship Manager (RM), will develop and maintain relationships with local government associations (LGA’s), businesses, community groups, key DRA stakeholders and DRA volunteers. While the primary focus of the RM is to build relationships and processes that facilitate DRA operations in NSW, the RM will be responsible for templating their model and managing volunteers placed into similar roles elsewhere. The RM will develop and maintain a comprehensive stakeholder management system and work across DRA to implement and maintain the system. The RM will also work with LGA’s to streamline processes and systems into council and shire emergency management plans and promote DRA’s capabilities, recruiting efforts and the impact we deliver to communities in need.
Disaster Relief Australia is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
