To help us continue with our initiatives, we are looking for an additional member to join our team at ReNew.

Providing quality commercial gardening and landscaping services while generating paid employment opportunities. ReNew is working with leading Perth businesses to turn everyday transactions into positive social outcomes.

ReNew Team Leader (Part Time/Full Time)

The role will mainly evolve around team member supervision and ensuring services are delivered at the highest standard. You must be skilled in all aspects of garden maintenance and has demonstrated competence in this field from previous and/or relevant industry experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for you and the team's quality of work to ensure services are delivered within ReNew's processes and standards
  • Works under routine supervision either individually or in a team environment
  • Assists in the provision of on-the-job training
  • Exercises discretion within their level of skills and training
  • Set priorities and monitor workflow in the area of responsibility
  • Provide expert advice to employees classified at lower levels and/or volunteers
  • Monitor and interpret legislation, regulations and other agreements relating to Occupational Health and Safety, Worker's Compensation and Rehabilitation
  • Undertake duties that require knowledge of procedures, guidelines and statutory requirements relevant to the organisation.
  • Plan, coordinate, implement and administer activities, policies and overall operation of a multi-functional service.

Qualifications:

  • Must have extensive knowledge and a minimum of 3 years experience in all aspects of garden OR property maintenance equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with a diverse group of young people, including those with disabilities and mental health issues.
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices.
  • High level of personal work standards.
  • Enjoy working outdoors with a high level of physical fitness.

We will require you to obtain the following clearances:

  • White card
  • Police clearance
  • Drivers licence
  • WWCC

Candidates with the below experience will be highly regarded

  • Chainsaw Ticket
  • Basic Traffic Management Ticket
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Experience in working with at-risk youth
  • Previous Team Leader experience
  • Reticulation experience
  • Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
