ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Salary: $62,601 to $95,776 per annum + 10% Superannuation
  • Classification: Allied Health Professional Level 1-2
  • Fixed-term full-time work for a period of 12 months (part-time options may be considered by negotiation)

The team at the Strong Families Safe Kids Advice and Referral Line are a passionate group of emotionally intelligent, multidiscipline government, non-government, professionals who collaborate and work together to provide short-term and early intervention advice or referral to families and young people.

This is a predominantly phone-based role in a fast-paced, high-energy, team environment.

ABOUT YOU

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

All positions with the Department of Communities Tasmania are required to undertake a pre-employment Conviction Check. In addition, this position has the following essential requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Social Work or a Diploma of Community Welfare Work or other tertiary qualifications at Diploma or above level which includes units of case management/casework practice and supervised practical work placements in relevant fields.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration (Employment type)
