The Safe At Home Advocate/ Support worker has a vacant full-time (1.0) and part-time (0.6) position available ; the program is funded through the Department for Communities Child Protection & Family Services.
The Lucy Saw Centre provides a suite of services to support women and children affected by domestic and family violence. The Safe at Home program is one of these services. The advocate / support worker role provides an outreach service to clients in their own home following a risk assessment to ensure the clients and workers are always safe.
The Lucy Saw Centre is a domestic and family violence lead agency and an innovative, quality service provider. We offer development and training opportunities, and we value cultural diversity in our staff group.
You will need to have a relevant tertiary and /or minimum 5 years relevant work experience and possess energy, initiative, and commitment to providing a quality service to clients.
