Multiple exciting opportunities exist for talented and passionate individuals to join the Department of Premier and Cabinet's Social Policy and Intergovernmental Relations group, working across the following branches:

  • Mental Health Royal Commission Coordination
  • Health

The Mental Health Royal Commission Coordination branch provides strategic advice and coordination support related to the Royal Commission and whole-of-government implementation of its recommendations to the Premier and Victorian Government. The Health branch provides high-quality, strategic analysis and advice to the Premier and Cabinet on a range of health policy issues. The branch also contributes to the development and delivery of key policies and priority projects from a whole-of-government perspective with a particular focus on improving the health and wellbeing of Victorians, as well as providing strategic advice to the Premier to support Victoria's position in negotiations with the Commonwealth on health-related intergovernmental matters.

As a Senior Policy Officer, you will be part of a high performing and supportive team, providing policy advice to the Premier and senior executives.

You will review policy proposals, undertake policy analysis and assess the impact of government decisions and actions. You will work closely with other key departments and areas within DPC.
