Who we're looking for

If you're a Facilitator with a tertiary qualification in Social Work (or equivalent) and/or early childhood education and development and/or at least 5 years' experience in the delivery of support services to families and children, preferably in a multidisciplinary environment, enjoy variety in your day, and working closely with other service delivery professionals, you might be exactly the person we're looking for!

As part of our Counselling, Assessment and Support team (CAST) team at Ferntree Gully, Vic, EACH is looking for an Access to Early Learning (AEL) Facilitator to increase participation in kindergarten by children experiencing vulnerability.

What you'll be doing

You will work within a multidisciplinary team with other counselors, caseworkers and support workers and manage a caseload of 8-10 families where there is a 3 yo eligible for three year old kindergarten. Your days will consist of outreach to these families, building relationship with the parents that encourage effective in home learning and foster connection and a sustained relationship with other family supports, the kindergarten and the educators.

Who you'll be working with

Working with other professionals within a variety of disciplines, including Maternal Child Health Nurses, Kindergarten staff, support workers and counsellors. Our team is dedicated to giving clients the best possible support.
