Our innovative headspace team is looking for a Mental Health Clinician to work across the Casey & Cardinia regions to support young people and their families!
If you're degree qualified in nursing, psychology, occupational therapy or social work and AHPRA registered (or eligible for membership with the association in your field), experienced in working with young people with a range of mental health issues with a flexible engaging approach, then this might be the opportunity for you!
We are seeking someone who is passionate about youth mental health, excited about taking ownership of their day and creating a quality customer-centric service. You will have demonstrated clinical mental health experience in working with young people and families to deliver therapeutic interventions.
This position will be offered in a part-time (.6FTE) capacity until 9 January 2022.
As the Mental Health Clinician, you will provide a range of flexible and assertive mental health services with a focus on individual and family treatment (within a 10 session model) for young people aged 12-25 years old presenting mild to moderate mental health difficulties. Your role places a priority focus on support including but not limited to young people and families who are at risk of disengaging with the service.
Delivery of service will be provided primarily from Narre Warren & Pakenham sites, at co-located youth hubs and through outreach as required.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be part of a team of a highly experienced and enthusiastic multidisciplinary team of health professionals dedicated to working with young people and their families, who present mental health challenges, to achieve the best possible outcomes. You will also be part of the wider headspace network and EACH community.
