Who we're looking for

If you're an experienced Health & Safety expert, with the ability to influence, communicate and lead effectively across the organisation with a variety of stakeholders, holding a degree qualified in health & Safety and/or substantial relevant experience, enjoy variety in your day, and working closely with other health & safety professionals and community health employees, you might be exactly the person we're looking for!

We're looking for someone with extensive experience in health safety and wellbeing incorporating both office and field based operations to work on a full-time basis (part-time may be considered for the right person). You'll bring your high level technical ability and expert knowledge in work health and safety and relevant legislation & regulations.

What you'll be doing

Our Health and Safety Business Partner is to provide specialist expertise and insight on health and safety systems and processes.
You will;

• Build solutions, contribute to processes and frameworks leading them effectively across the organisation with a variety of stakeholders.
• Actively contribute to achieving best practice levels of safety and legislative compliance in an environment of continuous improvement with a customer-first focus.
• Provide subject matter expertise and direction to enhance EACH's workplace health, safety, and wellbeing culture, including responding to day-to-day queries and attending sites.
• Identify opportunities and initiate innovative actions to improve and develop systems and processes with the end user in mind.
• Interpret and maintain relevant HSW legislation as well as EACH's internal requirements.
• Gather and analyse data from workplace inspections, incident investigations, safety audits to better understand issues and suggest opportunities for improvement.
• Organise appropriate specific safety training and maintain OHS data systems.
• Lead and support incident investigations, safety audits, activities and projects while providing expert health and safety advice.

Who you'll be working with

Reporting to the Health and Safety Lead within the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team and the wider Human Resources team you will be instrumental in advising and coaching our leaders of our various sites to drive a culture focused on first class safety.
