EACH's Integrated Therapeutic Community (ITC) team is looking for a full-time ITC Worker to join them!
Do you enjoy working in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and making a direct impact on people's lives? Are you experienced in working therapeutically with young people and families? Are you qualified in psychology, social work or another health-related discipline? Then you might be exactly the person we're looking for!
You will have demonstrated expertise and understanding in working with youth mental health, the impacts of trauma, homelessness, early school departure and family conflict. You will bring a strong person-centred approach, possess high emotional intelligence and the ability to tailor your work to meet the unique needs of young people (between 12 to 25 years of age) to help them to heal from their experiences and develop resilience into the future. Having an established network and understanding of youth services in Victoria will be highly regarded.
No day will be the same as the ITC Worker, you will deliver individual and collective support to young people with mental health conditions. Supporting our clients to develop activities of daily living (ADLs) and self-management skills for independent living. In addition to your caseload of clients, you will be responsible for implementing a diverse range of evidence-informed psychosocial groups.
This position includes working across multiple sites including in an outreach capacity and flexibility to work between 9:00am to 7:30pm weekdays.
Reporting into the Senior Worker and supported by the Manager - Youth Mental Health Services, will be part of a multidisciplinary team working across two sites and working in partnership with other youth services/providers to be able to provide the best care to our clients, making a huge difference to their lives.
Whilst the team is based across two sites (Box Hill South/Wantirna South), this position will be primarily based from Wantirna South and surrounding community settings.
