In support of EACH successfully winning the Eastern Health tender for the EIPSR (Early Intervention Psychosocial Support Response) program, we are very pleased to announce several new career opportunities to support this new, exciting and innovative partnership. The EIPSR program will lead a new way of supporting people with psychosocial issues specifically working to support our clients in their personal recovery journey, achieve set goals, increase independence, functionality and community connections.

We are very excited to announce that we are now seeking several Support Workers based at our Boronia office to develop their career and leadership skills with EACH and provide a high level of service and support to the program.

About You:

Ideally, you will be Degree qualified in either Mental Health or Community Health, skilled at and have experience in Mental Health services operating within the Social Model of Health framework in mental health or AOD sector. Your proven experience delivering community supports by providing clinical adult (16-65) mental health assessments and plans within a Transdisciplinary Mental Health framework, collaborating and communicating effectively with clients, families, colleagues, stakeholders and other service providers will be an essential attribute to be successful in this role.

About the role

You will be responsible for providing a variety of psychosocial support to clients and/ or carers, individually and in groups to achieve the goals of the EIPSR program. This will involve managing caseloads effectively in collaboration with clinical services and peer workers and providing associated reporting. No two days are the same in this role. There will be a focus on teamwork, assisting your colleagues resolve problems and appropriate consultation in making timely decisions. You will need to keep accurate data and consumer record keeping skills, be familiar with procedures when clients are identified to be at risk of harm or causing harm and procedures of clinical documentation, risk assessment, WHS and related mental health compliance standards and legislation.
