Turning Point Addiction Medicine Unit is looking for the right person to take up a role as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Liaison Worker (ALW) at Wellington House and Ward 1 East Community Residential Withdrawal Unit.
This role will be supporting clients at both Wellington House and ward 1 East in Box Hill and will work within a dynamic team providing treatment, support and care for people withdrawing from alcohol and drugs. This will include working with clients' families/carers and addressing a broad range of issues that are contributing to alcohol and other drug use. In this role you will be expected to have experience working in the alcohol and other drug services and in the provision of alcohol and other drug assessment and treatment and recovery.
