ABOUT US

Eco Explorers Australia is a Melbourne-based company that runs outdoor programs for children and families all across Melbourne and on the Mornington Peninsula. We are looking to expand and runs groups in Regional Victoria.

We deliver quality, play based outdoor learning programs and this position is a unique opportunity to make meaningful differences to the well-being and mental health of children and families while connecting them to nature and a welcoming community. Our playgroups provide a safe place for parents to connect with one another as well as opportunities for children to play and interact with other children.

Eco Explorers Australia has a strong commitment to the sustainability and the environment and recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet.

Once you have been allocated an outdoor location (no more than 30 mins from home), you will allocated set days and hours to work, which means your hours/days stay the same each term. You will also work with the same groups and families, so you can build long lasting relationships with the families you work with.

During your playgroup sessions, you will be required to share songs, stories, craft activities and lead a bush walk with your families.
