Emma House Domestic Violence Services

Our Family Violence Practitioners support women and children experiencing, or who have experienced family violence with the appropriate information, options, referrals, supportive counselling and advocacy to allow them to make informed decisions in regard to their situation.

This role ensures compliance with health directions across the agency and supports clients to receive vaccination and education regarding COVID 19. In addition to health directions, the following frameworks and approaches underpin the work: a feminist framework, empowerment and strength based approaches, and is trauma informed.
