WHO WE ARE

Emerge Women and Children’s Support Network (Emerge) is a specialist family violence service located in the City of Kingston. We run a 24/7 secure refuge, provide crisis accommodation, temporary housing and outreach services to women who remain in their homes. We also offer a variety of programs for women and therapeutic services to our clients, their children and the wider community.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a highly skilled, qualified and motivated individual who is committed to developing and implementing an effective marketing and communications strategy, with extensive website management experience (Wordpress) and excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Applicants who also have fundraising and grant/funding submission writing experience are highly desirable.

Applicants must be able to work Thursdays.

WHAT THE ROLE IS

This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist family violence service provider and support our growth and stakeholder engagement.

Through the development and implementation of a marketing and communications strategy, the aim of the role it to increase: (a) donations and community partnerships; (b) website and social media traffic; (c) audience engagement rate; and (d) brand awareness.
