The position

This position represents a terrific part time opportunity to utilise your quality management experience, continuous improvement and analysis skills. Working closely with the Executive of Risk and Governance, you will undertake a range of quality improvement and risk reduction initiatives and champion compliance activities. Capitalising on the appetite for change and improvement, you will operate along the spectrum from policy development to investigation ensuring that key deadlines and high standards are met.

You will have

  • Good experience in quality improvement and risk reduction activities, accreditation, audit schedules and mandatory training
  • A track record of championing the implementation of quality and risk frameworks
  • Some experience in investigation of incidents, analysis & reporting
  • A desire to drive a rigorous approach to root cause identification and close out of corrective actions
  • Experience in development and review of policies and procedures and supports development of standardised approaches to risk and quality management
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing demands and deadlines
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate with a range of people

About us

Eastern Melbourne PHN (EMPHN) is a federally-funded not-for-profit in Melbourne, with responsibility for improving the primary health care systems. We do this by facilitating health system improvements for people in the eastern and north eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

This is a part time position (0.8 FTE) with flexibility in the days and times to be worked, and the role will initially be until June 30, 2022, with a possibility of extension.
