The role

This pivotal role supports EMPHN’s quality, governance and risk management policies to complement our strategic direction. Reporting to the Executive Director, Governance, Risk & Compliance the role leads EMPHN’s quality certification program, and champions continuous improvement throughout the business. Working in a newly created and dynamic team, the responsibilities include:

  • Supporting senior leadership in the development and implementation of EMPHN’s strategic and business plan, with a focus on quality, governance and risk
  • Championing the implementation of our risk management framework
  • Actively participating in quality improvement and risk reduction activities, ensuring that quality, safety and risk are considered at all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Delivering internal support, education & training in relation to quality and risk processes

Who we are looking for

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in risk, quality, governance or a business related disciplined (post graduate qualifications desirable)
  • Proven knowledge and experience in quality, governance and risk management, preferably in a health organisation or related sector
  • Experience in accreditation surveys and auditing requirements
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with an ability to produce relevant performance indicators
