about the role

As Production Supervisor, you will take a person-centred approach, demonstrating empathy and patience while balancing the need to meet commercial outcomes.

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising supported employees while understanding and developing individual capabilities
  • Motivating and encouraging supported employees
  • Liaising with management to ensure outcomes and deadlines are met
  • Overseeing product quality
  • Engaging in the manufacturing process ensuring appropriate set up, production and shut down of equipment
  • Applying quality controls during the manufacturing process to ensure production and quality are in-line with the customer requirements

What you will bring to the role

  • A manufacturing/production or retail background
  • Experience supervising a small production team
  • Experience with food manufacturing machinery i.e. DOY and vertical form fill and seal
  • Moderate skills with MS Office applications
  • An ability to solve problems using a logical and systematic approach
  • Forklift ticket desirable
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team
  • Disability services experience or knowledge would be beneficial

Please note, before commencing with Endeavour Foundation, you will be required to undertake a “Fit2Work” National Criminal History Check, a positive blue card and yellow card OR the new NDIS Worker Screening card should you be successful.

Additionally, in line with the direction from the State Government, all authorised workers defined under the Queensland Public Health Order will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 from 15 December 2021.
