You can help us #turnthingsaround for people with epilepsy by joining our team!
We have an exciting part-time, fixed term opportunity to be part of something special. We are changing the world for people with epilepsy and are looking for an important person to support this work.
You will work closely with the whole Epilepsy Queensland Team, providing administration support. You will be the friendly voice at the end of the phone to assist with customer activities, general administration and support the team to execute campaigns, events and training activities.
We are heading into our busiest fundraising and training time of the year and we are looking for an administration superstar to support us during this time.
This role is offered at 0.4FTE (15.2hrs per week), initially for 3 months with the possibility of extension.
Due to the nature of the admin support we need, we are looking for someone who is able to spread the hours over 4 or 5 days per week (i.e. approximately 3 or 4 hours per day) at our office in Woolloongabba.
These hours could be worked outside of peak travel times.
Ideally, you have some experience working in not-for-profit or small team environments, a passion for being of service to others, and a willingness to go above and beyond to facilitate an outstanding customer experience within reasonable expectations.
We are a small, high performing team who live our values - if you would describe yourself as #brave, #agile and #transparent, have strong proficiency in technology platforms (Microsoft 365 and Dynamics ideal) and are motivated by the idea of changing the world for people with epilepsy, then we want to hear from you.
We are a small and ambitious organisation that blends our 52 year history of support with the growth and change needed to meet the current needs of people with epilepsy in Queensland. We aspire to be the trusted partner of the 30,000 Queenslanders living with epilepsy and work hard to ensure our culture helps us achieve great results.
More than 95% of our people consistently report that the mission / purpose of our organisation makes them feel like their job is meaningful.
More than 90% of our people consistently report that they routinely receive recognition and praise for doing good work and that their fellow employees are committed to quality work.
We think it’s a special place to work. Come and check us out!
