This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven sales person with experience selling corporate training programs.

The role

This role will be as a part-time Sales Manager with company headquarters in the Illawarra region, Australia. You’ll report directly to the Directors, and we would like this to be a collaborative working relationship. Together, you will work on strategic and big picture goals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an assertive, proactive, and socially focused representative who is confident in their communication, people and sales skills to close high-value deals with longer sales cycles.

The ideal candidate will have a big-picture focus and a need to drive change. They will be an out-of-the-box thinker and be undaunted by failure.

As the Sales Manager at Evolve Communities, you will be responsible for serving as a trusted advisor to prospective clients. Your goal is to understand and match clients’ needs to our service offerings so that they understand how we can help. You will manage inbound marketing leads and be proactive in generating new leads. Your compensation will consist of base salary and incentives.

With the company owner and marketing support, you will work as a team to find solutions that go to the heart of prospects’ problems and create winning proposals.

The ability to organise, plan, and autonomously structure your workload will be crucial to your success in this role. We neither have the time nor the inclination to micromanage you. You’ll have a lot of freedom in this role but also a lot of responsibility.

Key responsibilities

  • Create a National Business Plan to strengthen the company’s market position and profitability
  • Sell a full line of cultural training to new and existing accounts
  • Achieve sales goals through consistent and effective sales activities
  • Build a database of key personnel at targeted accounts
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Develop a robust sales pipeline and utilise our CRM to document all activity
  • Become a subject matter expert within the region on the current book of business, the opportunities, the challenges, and other market information.
  • Be the strategic thought leader with the ability to drive change
  • Track sales and status reports

Key requirements

  • Australian resident
  • Must have 3-5 years of meeting sales goals with corporate training/leadership programs
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Must be comfortable with consultative selling to senior leaders and decision-makers
  • Experience in a sales CRM such as Salesforce or Ontraport
  • Effective communication both verbally and in writing; strong client service and problem-solving skills; flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines; ability to work in a team setting
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
  • Excellent prioritisation, time management and organisational skills
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Ability to self-manage while working in an asynchronous, remote environment
  • A commitment to reconciliation in Australia and a willingness to learn more

Desired experience: Must have 3-5 years of meeting sales goals while selling corporate training/leadership programs. We are looking for someone with previous experience in a corporate environment.

What’s the deal?

  • Location: This role is 100% remote, within Australia
    • We’d love you to be able to join us quarterly in Jamberoo NSW for our team days but this is not essential
  • Hours: 20 hours per week, about 4 hours per day Monday-Friday, to ensure regular communication with prospects and drive the sales pipeline.
    • However, these hours will be flexible.
  • Salary: $75K + Super as a Full Time Equivalent. This would then be pro-rated to the number of hours worked.
    • Your salary package will consist of base salary PLUS attractive sales incentives. Incentives will be for new business, based on agreed monthly targets. An existing pipeline and strong marketing strategy is in place to support your success!
  • Starting: We’d love you to start as soon as possible!
