Reporting to the CEO, this position will contribute to a flexible and responsive organisational culture that values and respects the capacity of people living with disability to lead empowered and connected lives.

About the role

Exciting new role with a well-established NDIS service provider on the Central Coast.

6 month contract with the possibility of extension.

This is a challenging role that will require someone with a progressive and positive outlook who is keen to hit the ground running,

You will be part of and supported by a collaborative, enthusiastic CEO and leadership team who values continuous improvement and results.

*This is a brand new role so key responsibilities may change over time depending on business needs and priorities.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Analysing and categorising requests for review
  • Keep up to date with NDIS changes - policy, procedure, funding and disseminate to appropriate business units
  • Liaising with participants and their representatives to clarify requests and obtain further supporting evidence
  • Responsible for providing decision letters in response to requests for review
  • Liaising with each business unit to discover and maintain NDIS requirements
  • NDIS Claiming responsibilities
  • Review current NDIS compliance policy/procedures and make amendments where required
  • Provide recommendations and decisions, including collating relevant supporting documents

Skills and experience

The successful applicant will meet the following essential criteria:

Essential:

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of NDIS is essential
  • Ability to adapt to an ever changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills along with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Proactive approach with the ability to implement change when required
  • Ability to manage competing demands, solve problems and make appropriate decisions in relation to the dimensions of the position
  • Self-motivated, energetic and flexible with a high degree of initiative
  • A positive, energetic results driven work ethic is essential.
