We rescue food that would otherwise go to waste and cook it into nutritious meals for people in need.

FareShare provides free meals to more than 400 charities including homeless shelters, soup vans, women’s refuges, disadvantaged schools and community food banks. Our vision is for a society where food is not wasted and no one goes hungry.

FareShare operates Australia’s largest charity kitchens in Melbourne and Brisbane cooking 12,000 meals every day. We are a community-powered task force with hundreds of volunteers who help us cook, distribute and grow food, we also empower hundreds of corporate volunteers to make a difference in our kitchens each year.

FareShare is seeking a Volunteer and Community Coordinator to organise and develop our community of volunteers.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in an administration role and will possess outstanding communication and people skills. In previous roles, you will have demonstrated your ability to use initiative, troubleshoot and manage time efficiently. You will need strong computer skills (particularly in MS Office) and, ideally, will have experience using databases and CRM tools.
