The role:

Based at our Frenchs Forest office and working within our HR team, this role will provide high quality HR support and solutions.

In this broad role, we are looking for a friendly and hard working HR professional who can build strong relationships with our Managers and employees to help them feel supported and empowered.

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Employee life cycle administration
  • End to end recruitment – Onboarding of new staff, terminations & movements
  • Assisting Managers with employee performance management
  • Developing and implementing best practice HR strategies and solutions, providing direct hands-on advice to our growing enterprises.
  • Development of HR policy and procedures
  • Responding to HR inquiries from Managers and employees.
  • Assisting with projects with the HR team

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to identify solutions to challenging problems that may arise
  • Critical thinking skills as well as the ability to ‘think ahead’
  • Ideally will have experience in interpreting awards, in particular, the Social, Community, Home Care & Disability award (SCHADS)
  • Dealing with workplace relations issues such as complaints, conflicts, grievances, and misconduct
  • Understanding and experience in performance management & resolution
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload.

You will need:

  • Experience in working in Human Resources, a bonus if experience is with a similar industry
  • Ideally possess qualifications relevant to Human Resources
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children Check
  • Proof of Covid 19 Vaccinations - including Booster.
