The Role:

The Team Coordinator role is central to the successful operations of the Avenue Co-Working Space. Team Coordinators are at the heart of the model and primarily responsible for coordinating their micro enterprise team, overseeing the work of the small group of participants who are grouped together according to their business interests, skills and support needs. They coordinate the operation of the team, to ensure that progress is being made and everyone has meaningful work task while working towards their individual goals.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leadership and content development of individual learning and skill development plans and activities for the participants
  • Understanding the support needs of each participants in the team and monitor their support to ensure that all needs are being met
  • Ensure that all Support Workers are updated and advised of the needs of each individual participant in the team
  • Provide warm, engaging leadership and build strong relationships with all participants in the Team Coordinator's team, to build a strong community and culture, as well as strong relationships within Avenue

What we are looking for:

  • A highly organised professional with a positive and passionate approach to providing the highest level of support
  • Previous experience in similar program/service delivery in the community services sector
  • High bandwidth for multi-tasking and business savvy
  • Natural aptitude for and experience in leadership delegation and managing people
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be energetic, ambitious and seeking to learn and grow in the role
  • Possess or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children Check
  • Possess or be willing to obtain Provide First Aid/CPR (HLTAID003)
  • Hold a NSW Drivers Licence
