At the heart of the Jigsaw model is a thriving document and data management business, providing a range of high-quality commercial services to corporate and government clients including Westpac, Coca Cola Amatil. This business enables us to provide a training pathway for people with disabilities to prepare for employment at their own pace and undertake award wage employment before transitioning to open employment.
Due to successful expansion, we are seeking an experienced and energetic Senior support worker that is ready to lead a small team of support workers, engage the community in the Jigsaw model and bring a wealth of disability support knowledge to our team!

A support worker role at Jigsaw is not just your average support worker role. Support workers at Jigsaw are referred to as trainers because of the unique way we train and support our participants.
The Senior Trainer role is hands-on and will involve delivery of Jigsaw training as well as supervising and supporting a small team of Trainers to deliver training and work experience activities to Jigsaw participants to ensure the Jigsaw model is being followed and our training is individualised and engaging. They will also ensure all NDIS and company administrative tasks are completed consistently and to a high standard.
We are looking for someone who can bring a wealth of experience working with a variety of disabilities and behaviour support to guide our Trainers in day to day support to our Trainees with varying needs.
The role will involve communication with multiple stakeholders, including families, allied health professionals and the wider community.
We are growing our Adelaide hub and are looking for someone to grow with us. We are currently offering a casual position a few days a week and this will grow to 5 days a week in the coming months. There is also the possibility of a permanent position as we grow.
A passion for and experience with working with people with disability or in the allied health sector
Energetic and creative individuals who think differently about assisting others to achieve employment goals
Experience in supervising and providing training to develop individuals and teams
Proactive, forward thinker, who takes initiative to solve problems
Experience in supporting challenging behaviours and ability to apply a positive behaviour support approach to deescalate a situations
Excellent communication that allow for flawless customer services and administrative work
Auslan experience desirable but not required
Possess a working knowledge of occupational health and safety practices

At least 2 years experience working in the allied health and disability industry and or relevant university degree
