The Role

As a Business Development Manager for The Flagstaff Group, your sales and customer service experience will drive new business opportunities across multiple business divisions, whilst servicing our current clients, all with a smile and excellent customer service.

You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, creating long term partnerships, managing our current clients and ensuring our business solutions are leading edge.

Our “for purpose” business divisions vary from paper and cardboard recycling, commercial laundry, snap frozen meals, packing and assembly and printing. All have the aim of providing jobs and life skills for people living with disability.

To be successful in this role you need experience in the following:

  • Contacting leads and conducting business meetings with potential new and current clients
  • Developing and strengthening relationships with key clients
  • A successful record of exceeding budgets and KPIs
  • Delivering value to customers
  • Undertaking business analysis of the current market to identify gaps/opportunities for business growth
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commercial acumen
  • Strong sales planning and organisational skills
  • Closing the sale
  • Use of Microsoft Suite products and a CRM system

Criteria:

  • The candidate can work permanently with no restrictions
  • Must be able to provide on commencement National police check (no greater than 12 months old)
  • Must be able to provide on commencement Working with Children Check
  • Must be able to provide on commencement NDIS Worker Clearance
  • Current drivers licence
  • Tertiary qualification or demonstrated experience (minimum 3 years) within a similar business development role
