Family Life operates a number of opportunity shops and a warehouse which are supported by a team of dedicated volunteers. Our Op Shops operate as a Social Enterprise, with the primary purpose to engage and support the local community.

The Opportunity

The Social Enterprise Operation Coordinator supports the Social Enterprise Manager to implement and monitor performance against the Social Enterprise Theory of Change and Strategy. This role is primarily responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operations of the Family Life Retail Stores.

Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will support the Social Enterprise Manager with the implementation of the Social Enterprise Strategy and Theory of Change and ensure the efficient and effective operations of the Retail Stores.

The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Sales and petty cash reconciliation and reporting
  • Rostering
  • Act as a ‘support hub’ for to Retail Mangers including salesforce maintenance and support
  • Provide coverage when Retail Managers are sick or on leave.
  • Work with Corporate Services to ensure stores and properties are well maintained and OH&S is up to date.
  • Oversee all systems and ensure policies are communicated
  • Support the delivery of events
  • Oversee all retail and impact reporting
  • Support the Social Enterprise Manager to manage all stakeholder management
