The program

This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist family violence program as one of two team leaders. The team leaders work closely together as part of the Family Safety and Wellbeing Leadership team and lead an experienced and passionate team to deliver the program requirements and ensure quality of service.

The program provides specialist family violence responses, including services for victim/survivors of family violence, and accountability, behaviour change services for perpetrators, including individual and group work.

The service is delivered through centre bases sessions at the Frankston, Sandringham sites and other Family Life sites where appropriate.

A day in the life of this position: As a Team Leader, you will provide effective leadership, supervision, guidance and support to the family violence team. You will manage staff performance, support your team member’s continuous improvement and development, as well as overseeing the appropriate delivery of family violence services for men, women and children.
