About the role

Family Planning NSW is looking for an experienced Education Officer - Quality to provide education leadership in the development, co-ordination, delivery, assessment and evaluation of all education course activities and products. The Education Officer- Quality will ensure a robust quality management framework, by standardising systems and driving education service delivery.

This role will work closely with the Manager Education, Clinical Education Coordinators, Senior Education Officer and Instructional Designers to ensure a consistently high standard of reproductive and sexual health education.

Key Criteria

Essential

  • Tertiary qualification in adult education
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated registered training organisation (RTO) experience, in the non-government sector
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a quality management framework within the Vocational Education and Training sector (VET)
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in facilitation and mentoring
  • Attention to detail, orderly and structured approach to educational processes and systems
  • High level communication skills (written, oral, liaison and presentation)
  • Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability and flexibility in adjusting to changing demands
  • Experience in an accreditation model, knowledge of how regulatory bodies work

Desirable

  • Experience using VETtrak or similar Student Management System (SMS) in an RTO context

Other requirements

  • A Criminal Record Check and/or Working With Children Check is/are required prior to commencement in this role
