ABOUT US

Friends for Good is an Australian loneliness pioneer. We were the first organisation to work solely on the issue of loneliness. Until recently we were volunteer driven. We provide direct services, undertake research and hold community education activities. Friends for Good provides FriendLine, a free, anonymous phone service that helps people overcome loneliness. We partner with a broad range of individuals and groups and chair the Friendship Alliance, a national group working together on the issues of social isolation and loneliness.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a diverse role that works closely with other members of the Friends for Good team. It encompasses rostering for the FriendLine service, preparing a range of reports for government and other stakeholders, assisting with fundraising and administration for training and events.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in all aspects of administration including setting up and managing systems, advanced reporting skills and the capacity to work across various different tasks. In addition, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required in order to work effectively with a large group of volunteers.

This is a part-time position of 22.5 hours per week. Days of work are flexible. The position is based in Northcote.
