Froebel Fitzroy North is one of 5 early learning services run by the not-for-profit provider Froebel Australia. The centre has places for 69 children from 6 months to 5 years of age located in a leafy area with beautiful outdoor environments. The service has just received an “Exceeding National Quality Standard” rating in all seven Quality Areas.

Our educational program focuses on immersive language learning (second language: German) and inquiry-based early learning by implementing the Little Scientists program. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Early Childhood Educator to join our Toddler team. The role is 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day) worked Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will:

  • ideally hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
  • have very good communication and interpersonal skills to built and grow trusting relationships with colleagues, families and community members
  • have a keen interest in immersive language learning and inquiry-based learning
  • have an understanding of contemporary child safe practices
  • last but definitely not least: have a sunny personality with a positive mindset!
