FIG has entered into an incorporated joint venture with Carnarvon Petroleum Limited (ASX code CVN) to develop Australia’s first commercial-scale renewable diesel biorefinery. We are engaged in capital raising and advisory work for clients with technology or solutions helping to the transition the world to a zero-carbon economy and restore our ecosystems. We are also in the process of establishing a carbon project and funds management business to help scale up vital land restoration activities in Australia.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Impact Officer will be an important member of the project team supporting senior project leads on the biorefinery project and also contributing to our other impact initiatives, including assisting with (and leading where appropriate) the stakeholder engagement and business development activities, as further described in the attached job description.

ABOUT YOU

You: 

  • Are a passionate and intelligent young professional with exceptional people skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in commerce, arts, business, law or other relevant field. (e.g. project management, finance).
  • Have at least 3 years of post-graduation work experience, ideally with experience in, or a keen interest in up-skilling in, one or more of renewables, carbon markets and regenerative agriculture.
  • You enjoy working in a fast paced and agile environment where your independence and initiative can achieve awesome positive impact.

PACKAGE AND FURTHER DETAILS

$65,000 - $80,000 FTE per annum (inclusive of superannuation) (subject to experience level), full-time fixed-term position until financial close on the first biorefinery project. Opportunities to extend subject to future project availability.
