Do you have outstanding administration skills, a keen eye for detail and thrive in enabling community-led change, deliver to the highest standard from the grassroots to Board level, and get how remote, rural, and regional communities work?

Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) has a vacancy in our delivery team and is seeking a ready-to-hit-the-ground-running Grants Officer with exceptional skills in administration, grants program management and evaluation, and relationship and stakeholder management. If this sounds like you and you’d like to align your skills and experience with good purpose in a talented team and organisation committed to the vitality of remote, rural, and regional Australian communities, then this role with FRRR might be for you.

The key duties include:

  • Provide high quality support to the Future Drought Fund Program Manager in the day-to-day administration of grants, including due diligence, validation, grant assessments, preparation of Committee materials, grantee correspondence, and monitoring of grants across varying FRRR funding programs.
  • Coordinate and process grant administration throughout the program cycle with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, including grant finance paperwork, grant/project reports and acquittals, correspondence with grant recipients, and general data maintenance of the grants management database and filing.
  • Responding effectively and appropriately to grant seeker enquiries.
  • Contribute to research and content for donor reports as required.

Proactively work as part of the team, contributing to continuous improvement, practice development, and role-modelling organisation values.
