Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) has a vacancy in our delivery team and is seeking a ready-to-hit-the-ground-running Grants Officer with exceptional skills in administration, grants program management and evaluation, and relationship and stakeholder management. responsibilities

The responsibilities for this support officer role are primarily to provide general administration and grant assessment support to the Strengthening Rural Communities grants program. The role will also provide ad-hoc support to other areas of the organisation delivering grants programs as directed by the QLD/NT/WA Program Manager.

The key duties include:

  • Provide high quality support to the Program Manager in the day-to-day administration of grants, including due diligence, validation, grant assessments, preparation of Committee materials, grantee correspondence, and monitoring of grants across varying FRRR funding programs.
  • Coordinate and process grant administration throughout the program cycle with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, including grant finance paperwork, grant/project reports and acquittals, correspondence with grant recipients, and general data maintenance of the grants management database and filing.
  • Responding effectively and appropriately to grant seeker enquiries.
  • Contribute to research and content for donor reports as required.
  • Proactively work as part of the team, contributing to continuous improvement, practice development, and role-modelling organisation values.

This 0.8 FTE role can be situated in Bendigo or other locations within Victoria and New South Wales. Flexible work arrangements exist.
