Gateways Support Services has been making a positive difference to children, adolescents and adults with autism, intellectual disability and complex needs across Western Melbourne, Geelong and the South-West for over 20 years. With a workforce in excess of 750, Gateways is embarking on a strategy that will see greater investment in our people and in the range and diversity of services and supports provided to our families. Due to a restructure, an Executive leadership role has become available, one that will drive the future of Gateways in the Geelong region. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Manager Service Delivery, Barwon will be responsible for providing operational, financial and strategic leadership to services in the Barwon region. The position holds overall accountability for ensuring all services provide high-quality, responsive and individualised outcomes for clients in a cost effective manner. The position will ensure services are designed and delivered to promote growth in capabilities and independence with each individual and family. The position will be responsible for ensuring the sustainability and growth of Gateways Barwon services and will be in integral partner to the achievement of Gateways PLACE strategy.

As a deeply experienced disability or human services delivery manager, you will have a passion for quality services, bringing unique and best practice approaches to contemporary disability services that deliver inclusion and connection to our community.

You will be required to apply for an NDIS Worker Screening Check. This check includes a national criminal records check, and will cost you $119.40. The check is valid for 5 years.

Successful applicants will be required to supply a current Working with Children check for an employee, a current Level 2 first aid qualification and CPR update. If you have lived outside of Australia for more than 12 months in the last 10 years, you will be required to supply an international police check from the country where you lived. Employment cannot commence until this check is received and assessed.

Shortlisted applicants will also be required to undertake the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission online Worker Orientation training module called ‘Quality, Safety and You’ prior to attending induction. This is a pre-employment requirement and if not completed, employment will not proceed.
