About the Role

We are seeking a Communications Coordinator (Digital) to join our Communications team. Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will be responsible for: 

  • Developing, producing and implementing GCPHN’s digital strategy targeting varied stakeholder audiences, including health professionals and the Gold Coast community.
  • Creating, managing, and executing content strategy through digital channels, including website, social media, video conferencing, intranet, email and SMS platforms.
  • Increasing digital channel traffic and providing statistical analysis and reporting for digital planning and GCPHN’s communications and engagement strategy.
  • Content management of GCPHN’s website working with internal staff and external contractors
  • Leading GCPHN’s social media campaign strategy, including online engagement and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
  • Maintaining digital information and resources, memberships, regular news updates, events and online collaboration/group functionality.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring various marketing and communication strategies to promote GCPHN's website.

This is a full-time maximum term contract to 30 September 2023, with a view to extension.

About You

GCPHN is seeking to engage a Communications Coordinator (Digital) with

  • Relevant tertiary and vocational qualifications and/or significant experience working in a marketing or communications role with a significant focus on the application of ICT/digital technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate effective digital strategies.
  • Working knowledge of frameworks for developing and implementing digital communications, marketing and engagement strategies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of WordPress (and plugins), HTML and CSS, on-page SEO, and web analytics.
  • Knowledge of and practical skills in writing, design and production of cross-platform promotional and marketing materials (including traditional media), and distribution of email marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to develop processes/templates and plan projects to effectively achieve results, using standard project management applications and techniques.
