Good Cycles

About Good Cycles

Good Cycles is a friendly, busy, and growing not-for-profit social enterprise.

We work with our partners and clients to provide work for young people facing barriers to employment, preparing them for the workforce and their future.

We work across various industries including asset maintenance, micro mobility, retail, open spaces, and more services to build sustainable and inclusive cities. Wherever possible, we use quality e-Bikes to undertake work, to provide real jobs to people who do not have a drivers license, and take a van or truck off the road.

About the role

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring our work is done on time on budget and to the high standard that our clients expect.

You will set the course of the team's daily workflow, monitor performance, make corrections where required and report and respond to clients across multiple contracts.

You will be supported by our HR and back office teams, including our specialist Impact team, who form an integral part of our support to aid people to achieve their career goals.

About you

To succeed and flourish in this role you should have some background in supervision and have work experience in the civil, construction, transport and logistics or similar sectors.

A big part of this job is ensuring the safety of our team members, and as such a background in OHS is important. Creating OHS documents and providing feedback to staff regarding safe work processes would be a big bonus.

What we offer

  • Opportunity to grow and lead in your role. We have grown significantly in the past twelve months and we plan to keep that going. There will be opportunity for advancement and growth within Good Cycles for those that show desire and aptitude.
  • Salary packaging - As a registered charity you will have tax benefits over and above your salary. It means the real value of remuneration can be significantly higher than the nominal value.
  • Most importantly, your work will go towards creating better futures for young people and better cities for everybody.
