RSPCA is Victoria’s best-known and most respected animal welfare organisation. They care for creatures great and small, and strive to achieve outstanding animal welfare through education, advocacy, and animal care and protection.

Reporting to the Head of Development, and leading a small team, the Events and Community Fundraising Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of community fundraising campaigns to grow income, increase engagement and raise awareness of both state-wide and national digital and in-person peer-to-peer events.

The Events and Community Fundraising Manager will lead the delivery and performance of the RSPCA Victoria Events and Community Fundraising program, including promotion, resourcing, organisation and review of all event and program related activities to maximise their success and contribution to the organisations fundraising efforts. You will lead inspiring national flagship campaigns such as Million Paws Walk and explore new and innovative ways to increase interest in events and community fundraising, expand mass-participation events, and develop and evolve plans to achieve targets and maximise growth opportunities.

About YOU

• Demonstrated success in developing and executing an events and community fundraising program, including digital promotion and engagement.
• Previous experience in managing, leading and developing high performing staff and volunteer teams.
• You are collaborative and build effective relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to share knowledge and present information effectively.
• You thrive in a fast paced and challenging work environment.
• Tertiary qualifications in Event Management (or equivalent) and/or significant experience in event management is highly regarded.
• Proficiency in fundraising CRM with knowledge of integration of fundraising platforms such as Funraisin and Campaign Monitor highly desirable.
