About you

As the Fellowship Exams Administrator, you will report to the Fellowship Exams Lead. You will have proven experience in an administrative role, with excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrated customer service attributes and immaculate attention to detail.

You demonstrate:

  • Highly developed computer skills, with a demonstrated knowledge of the Microsoft suite and previous experience in using databases/CRM.
  • Skilled in time management and prioritisation, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Capacity to work resiliently in a fast-paced environment and consistently produce high-quality work.
  • Understanding of the risk and complexity associated with high-stakes exams.

The opportunity

The Assessment Operations department delivers a range of functions which contribute to the RACGP’s objective of establishing and maintaining high standards of knowledge, experience, competency, and skills in general practice. The Fellowship Exams Administrator plays a pivotal role in the national delivery of all RACGP Fellowship exams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Respond to exam queries from internal and external stakeholders including members and exam candidates received by email and telephone, ensuring the provision of high quality, accurate and timely advice.
  • Process and follow up on exam incident reports, special arrangement applications, Censor in Chief submissions, and related activities.
  • Assist with the preparation of exam briefings and reports, candidate exam materials, including rosters, FAQs, and guidance documents.
  • Provide administrative support for meetings, including set-up, distribution of documentation and minute-taking, also maintaining all filing systems.
  • Respond to changing requirements and adjust priorities and plans accordingly including working after hours and/or at other RACGP locations, including during RACGP examinations.
