The ideal candidate for the Installation and Service Technician role will be a self-motivated and driven individual who is committed to environmental sustainability and can help us ensure that our customer promise of seamless product installation and operation is fulfilled.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct and/or coordinate the installation, commissioning, fault-finding, service and maintenance requirements for all WasteMaster units in the field
  • Act as prime focal point for technical troubleshooting of the Wastemaster fleet
  • Liaise with third-party component manufacturers where required
  • Assist with identifying and contracting third parties to conduct service and maintenance requirements in each of the WasteMaster geographies
  • Formalise maintenance requirements for the WasteMaster and assist with developing the associated support software and training packages for the same
  • Help develop maintenance and operational reports to facilitate formal performance reviews and machine design improvements
  • Assist with developing training material and facilitate the on-site roll out

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Broad understanding of Program Logic Controller and Instrumentation operation and troubleshooting
  • REL Electrical qualification (minimum) and Mechanical and/or Fitter experience required
  • Fault Finding experience essential
  • Experience with commercial site safe work practices
  • Australian Citizenship required
  • Full Australian driving license.
  • Experience with maintenance software systems.
  • Competent with the Microsoft suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and tracking
