The Communications and Administration Coordinator is a short-term role responsible for communications and engagement with LGBTIQ+ organisations during our flagship project, GiveOUT Day on 20 October 2022!
GiveOUT Day 2022 will bring together 80 LGBTIQ+ not-for-profit organisations and their communities for one national day of giving to build awareness of their causes, raise funds for vital services and expand their networks. To learn more about GiveOUT Day head to https://www.giveout.org.au/giveout-day.
GiveOUT is an LGBTIQ+ led organisation with the aim of increasing funds to not-for-profit organisations that service our rainbow communities. GiveOUT achieves this through three main pillars: capacity building programs, research and advocacy, and funding programs (including GiveOUT Day and Amplify Pride Fund).
GiveOUT brought GiveOUT Day to Australia for the first time in April 2019. It is the only national day of giving to LGBTIQ+ communities in Australia. GiveOUT Day has grown each year and in 2021 $320,000 was raised for 77 LGBTIQ+ organisations. For more information on projects head here: www.giveout.org.au/projects.
Over the past 5 years GiveOUT has distributed over $1 million to over 100 LGBTIQ+ organisations.
