Central Goldfields Shire is seeking an energetic and ambitious leader to join our team in a new role for Council which will oversee and drive exciting developments planned across our recreation, youth, health and community development functions.
Using your exceptional communication and collaboration skills along with a solution focused mind-set you will oversee the sustainable development of new and existing sport, leisure, education and wellbeing programs, inclusive to people of all ages and abilities, which improve the health, inclusivity and capacity of our communities across Central Goldfields Shire.
Managing a small, multi-disciplinary team, the Coordinator will work across Council and in partnership with the local community to increase the capacity and sustainability of our community sector, including local sports clubs, to increase participation in an ever-broadening range of community activities, including both organised and informal sports and to maximise the use, reach and quality of our community and sports infrastructure including community halls, sports grounds and tracks and trails.
