Grand Pacific Health is a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation providing locally-tailored, high quality mental health services. We have teams delivering a broad range of programs across a large portion of South Eastern NSW, the A.C.T and Murrumbidgee region.

ABOUT THE POSITIONS

Based in our Goulburn and Queanbeyan offices, the Mental Health Clinicians provide person-centred and strength-based support to people living with serious and enduring mental health issues. The focus of the role is providing brief psychological therapies for people with mild to moderate mental health issues as well as being part of a collaborative peer lead suicide aftercare program for people who have had a recent hospital presentation.

You will work with peer workers and other clinicians in partnership with our consumers, their families, carers and GPs to deliver high quality and holistic services. Clinical care coordination is also provided in collaboration with psychiatrists, GPs, the local health district services, and other mental health organisations.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • A contemporary attitude and commitment to mental health recovery
  • Experience in working with people with complex mental health needs
  • AHPRA registration as a Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist or an AASW Credentialed Mental Health Social Worker, or be willing to work towards the same.

The position is full time or part time on a maximum term contract; hours and days are negotiable. Contract is likely to extend.
