about the role

Are you looking for a job that is meaningful, challenging and rewarding? Lead the Multicultural, Youth and Ageing Team and strengthen opportunities for the multicultural and ageing community and young people across the municipality through strategic coordination and maintaining effective stakeholder partnerships.

To be a success you will bring:

• Relevant Bachelor qualification and/or extensive demonstrated experience in community development, youth services, ageing, social work or related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the municipality, current challenges faced by young people, the ageing population and the multicultural community and the ability to work across the three sectors with professionals, agencies and key networks.
• Skills in leading a team to deliver innovative and community valued initiatives.
• Project management skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
