THE TEAM

Our team is a key part of the Fundraising and Technology department, and manages the organisation’s high value fundraising, by building close relationships with donors, bringing them closer to Greenpeace campaigns and strategies and collaborating closely to grow impact.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Grant Writer and Coordinator to join our high ambition fundraising team at a unique turning point in the race to stop catastrophic climate change. Our multi-million dollar annual fundraising target aims to match the ambition of our environmental campaigns.

The Grant Writer and Coordinator is a new position that will be focused on developing high impact, fundable campaign proposals to public trusts and foundations (non-corporate) and other written content to advance all aspects of effective communication with supporters and prospective supporters.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

To be successful in this role you’ll need excellent marketing instincts and strong interpersonal and organisational skills to deliver written grants and proposals that are at a high standard and meet the criteria to ensure successful outcomes. If you’re an individual with a love of and a flair for writing, storytelling and a passion for the environment as well as a strong capacity to adapt and learn, we’d love to hear from you.

Emotional intelligence, good judgement, future focus, and an entrepreneurial spirit are all essential attributes for this role - as well as persuasive writing skills.

Your capacity to work collaboratively with others will be a real asset. Your organisation and coordination skills will support not only your own outcomes, but those of the whole fundraising team, especially in reporting back on impact to Greenpeace donors.

Annual Salary $73,769.95 + 10% superannuation.

Open to applicants Australia wide, with a preference for Sydney or Melbourne for the opportunity to join in person staff workshops, meetings, get-togethers and creative confrontation activities.
