THE TEAM

The People and Culture (P&C) team sits within the Governance and Performance department, which also includes the IT, finance, legal, governance and operations functions. The P&C team provides cross-organisation people and culture support, including the day-to-day running of operational P&C matters, recruitment and selection, policy development, performance management, learning and development and support for the Greenpeace Australia Pacific (GPAP) crew.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team on a 24-month contract with the possibility of extension, subject to funding.

This role is crucial to the achievement of our environmental objectives - to meet the huge challenges we face, we must recruit and develop exemplary people and ensure outstanding levels of performance.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist’s primary focus is delivering best in class attraction, recruitment and onboarding initiatives. The role develops long-term recruiting strategies and nurtures trusting relationships with potential hires, creating strong talent pipelines to meet GPAP’s current and future talent needs. It also provides specialist input into the development and maintenance of the Employer Brand and Employee Value Proposition, as well as the Recruitment policy, and recruitment and on-boarding systems and practices.

This role is ideally situated in Sydney however the role is open to candidates Australia wide.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the environment, has a flair for creative, inclusive, evidence-based recruitment, and is excited about helping us expand and improve on our recruitment processes using a range of resources, including LinkedIn recruiter. You will be confident in seeking out digitally literate candidates and capable of refining our onboarding program to provide the technical skills and soft skills required to be digitally productive and collaborative.

You’ll have at least three years’ experience in a specialised talent acquisition role, with a high level understanding of the Australian recruitment market; familiarity with the Pacific market is a huge plus!

Salary $88,170.76 per annum + Superannuation.
