HammondCare At Home is continuing to expand our aged care services. We are seeking part-time Home Care Workers who embrace HammondCares Mission in Action. You must be willing to provide support to our clients across the South and East Melbourne Regions.
Our teams cover clients from St Kilda, up to Hawthorn, across to Croydon, down to Frankston.

What's involved in the role?

Aged Care Support Workers deliver a range of 'At Home Aged Care services and mostly work independently in client homes, but with direct support from their Care Manager.

Duties include:

• Assisting with personal care - including bowel cleaning, shower/toilet assistance, pad changes
• Medication assistance
• Meal preparation
• Light housework
• Shopping and transport to medical appointments
• Social support and community engagement

What do you need to apply?

• Availability to take on Perm, Part-Time hours across the workweek.
• No formal qualification is necessary, however, Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is an advantage
• Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others
• Valid provisional or above Drivers Licence
• A reliable car with minimum third-party insurance
• Willingness to engage with our clients and have genuine care for their quality of life
• Reliability and willingness to provide genuine care and supports to our clients
